INDONESIAN CULTURE
THE JAVANESE
The area of Java is very vast covering central and east Java island. In ancient time Mataram kingdom which are now the the special district of Yogyakarta and Solo in Central Java were the center of their culture. In 1755 the kingdom was splited into 2, one is the Sultanate of Yogyakarta, and one other is Kasunanan of Surakarta ( both are Islamic kingdoms ). Javanese speak complex dialect which introduces social status. In general the dialect is divided into two levels that are "Ngoko" dialect which is spoken among known partners, and "Krama" dialect which is spoken among those who are not known each other and for those whose social status is considered higher. Both Ngoko and Krama have more further variations, when it was spoken for palace member, higher status level, or more senior people, or for lower level, etc.

Java land is the most densely populated in Indonesia. Many big cities are still developing such as Yogyakarta, Semarang, Solo, Surabaya, Blitar, and Malang. While dozens of medium to small cities still heavy with population. So the welfare of the people is still a tremendous big works. Still a large part of the population working on the land cultivating rice, cassava ( marlihot utilissima Phl), corn (zea mays L), yam (ipomea batatas poir ), Kacang ( vigna sinencis), gude (cjamis cajan), soya ( glycine soya Bth ), bean (arachis hypogen L), etc.

Some people work in government offices, private companies, trades and especially near the beaches as fishermen. Personal ownership of land in Java is the same as other areas in Indonesia. The ownership is transferred down from generation to generation, divided among the heirs. That is why in Java most family has a small land for farming.

Kinship system in Java is almost the same as in Bali, that is forbidden to marry between brother and sister, nephew, and children among brothers and sisters, and marry older woman. There are many ways a man and a woman come to their marriage status. First the family of the man come to the family of the woman to request their daughter, and this is the normal procedure. Second is when a man after dedicated himself to the parent of the woman, than is given as a present to marry their daughter. Third is the present from royal family. Fourth is the family of the woman come to the family of man to request. Fifth is when a marriage is arranged by both parents, in this case the marriage will be an imperative and forced by both parents. This way is become very rare and might be disappear in the future. Divorce in some reasons is accepted due to the absence of child, inability of husband to give welfare to the wife, and other reasonable causes.

In Javanese society there is class considered high status such as "bandara-bandara" consist of royal family lineage, and the "priyayi" the government workers and learnt persons. In contrast to above 2 groups is a class called "wong cilik" means small people, those are the common people which is mostly poor. Based on religious characteristics there are "Santri" and "Kejawen" Santri is Moslem that is very obedience with Islamic rules, while Kejawen is Moslem but they are not praying nor have the idea to go for a haj to Mecca.

Organizationally, the smaller unit of administration is called Desa or Kelurahan with head called "Lurah" Once again the understanding of Desa in Java contains much different affairs compared those a Desa in Bali. A Desa in Java is an administrative area as a bridge between Indonesian government with local organization.

Islam has been is the majority religion in Java, not question about that as at every corner of the land we can see mosques. Not all Javanese practice religious rituals according to the Islamic doctrines. As already mentioned there are "Kejawen", and also many people are Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, and others. The Moslem-Kejawen believe that there is an omni-power incomparable wherever and whenever it does.. This supreme power is called "Kesakten" Below kesakten there are ancestor's spirits, good and evil spirits which can affect human life. In conjunction with this power and spirits they make an offering and a feast for the blessing ceremony. Those rituals such as:
  1. Life circle rites including many ritual after death. Basically there are ritual from Pregnancy - Birth - Life - Death - After Death.
  2. Various ritual for the Desa, Rice field, and Land cultivation,
  3. Various ritual for the Moslem holidays,
  4. Ritual for special event such as opening new house, diseases, long journey etc.
During the ritual they make an offering and is dedicated to supreme power and the lower invisible beings. Even, after death they have ceremonies after 3, 7, 40, 100, and 1000 days.

In their ritualistic tradition it is very clear that influence of Hindu is still very strong observing from the names they use, and some specific beliefs which arises such as (1) a belief of good and evil spirits, (2) a belief mixed between Moslem and Hindu, (3) a belief showing Hindu characters, (4) a belief in mystic. They are all in search of human welfare.

Various tourism interests are spreaded over Java from western tip to eastern tip of the island. Lately the security concern is arises due to the economic crisis of the country which is not last yet.
Balinese Culture
Balinese culture is a unique combination of spirituality, religion, tradition and art. Religion is considered to be art and it seems that almost every Balinese is a devoted artist, spending 'free time' applying skills and images which have been passed down from generation to generation and grasped from a very young age. Expressed through beautiful and intricate paintings, extraordinary carvings, superb weaving, and even in rice decorations that cover the myriad shrines found in public areas, in paddy fields or in homes, the island is alive with art and religious homage.
Sekala and Niskala
Balinese culture is a complex event characterised by diversity and adaptability. A central dictum in Balinese thinking is the concept of Desa - Kala - Patra, (time, place and situation), a dynamic notion holding that traditional thinking will blend in harmony with the new. The Balinese distinguish between Sekala, the material, and Niskala the eternal. Reality is a coincidence of the material and the eternal real.
One does not exist without the other. The world, therefore, is the product of the interaction of Sekala and Niskala.
Temple Festivals
Temple festivals are commonplace. Each village will hold some sort of colourful ceremony for each one of its own temples a couple of times a year. Add to this the rituals and celebrations for each persons' passage from birth, puberty, marriage, childbirth to death and the after-world, and include the major island-wide celebrations like Galungan, Kuningan and Nyepi; the day of silence when the whole island closes down in fear of evil spirits flying in from the sea, and you can begin to understand how important religion in Bali is.
Hindu Dharma
Art, culture and day to day activities for most Balinese are strongly bonded to a unique form of Hinduism called Hindu Dharma, which is widely thought to be the closest example to the religion and social framework that existed in Java during the zenith of its power and is now found nowhere else. Classical dance dramas based on the old Hindu epics of the Ramayana and the Mahabarata which arrived from Java, are like everywhere else in Indonesia, mixed with pre-Hindu animist belief and peculiar local folklore. Not all Balinese adopted the new Hindu religion though. The Bali Aga who now live in isolated groups in the mountains at Trunyan and Tenganan, for example, preferred their ancient animist beliefs, which are still practiced and remain largely intact today.
Balinese belief systems
The very soul of Bali and Balinese belief systems is rooted in religion and is expressed in art forms and skills that have been passionately preserved over the centuries. During the mid sixteenth century Bali reached a cultural climax, which encouraged and developed elaborate arts and customs, which are the foundations of what is practiced today. In a sense they have changed very little since that time, but as has been the case throughout much of the Indonesian archipelago, adaptation of new environments is absolutely essential for survival. It was at this time that the Javanese Hindu and the Balinese calendars were combined and a complex schedule of rituals and ceremonies was defined. Nine great temples, the Pura Agung, were also built, linking the structure of the new calendar with that of the gods. The most sacred being the Mother Temple, Pura Besakih, built high on the slopes of Bali 's most sacred mountain, Gunung Agung.

Thesis

Narcotics, psychotropic and other addictive substances (drug) is usually called drug is a type of drug / substance is required in the medical world. However, if used without proper restrictions and supervision can caused dependency and can endanger the health of even user soul. The meaning of the Narcotics itself is a substance / drug derived from synthetic or semi-synthetic plants that can lower consciousness, loss of taste, reduce to eliminate pain and can caused dependence. While psychotropic drugs are not efficacious psychoactive through selective effect on the central nervous system that causes typical changes in mental activity and behavior. And other addictive substances are not ingredients that its use of narcotics or psychotropic drugs can caused both psychological or physical dependence. For example: Alcohol, cigarettes, cofein.
Drug abuse and illegal drugs in the community is now increasing. The rise of deviant behavior in the young generation, can dangerous for life of this nation in the future. Because the young as a generation that is expected to become the successor to the nation, but because many young people now are taking drugs so one by one the younger generation is lost in Killing by adikif substance so that young can not be thinking clearly. As a result, generation of a strong hope and intelligent nation would only stay memorable. Most of the spread of drug targets are teenagers. Drug abuse in addition to harmful health yourself is also negatively impact a person's social and economic life. Drug abuse could damage the economy because of the nature of drug dependence, where the body of users always ask for extra doses and with the price of medicines which are relatively expensive drugs then it is economically very harmful.
Family economy could be discharged if the family could no longer pay their families against drug addiction, even this can be bad which can cause the problem of crime such as theft, robbery hold-up even. Family harmony can be disrupted if one or more family members become addicted. The nature of drugs that damage the physical and psychological discomfort will affect social relations within the family. Drug abusers also cause unrest in society. Uncontrolled user behavior can disturb public order and security. Especially if associated with the accompanying spread of various diseases such as Hepatitis, HIV / AIDS, and even death.
Many people think for them already taking drugs to excess will be at risk of death because substances contained in drugs disturbing their immune system so that in a relatively short time can be claimed soul of the user, to act reckless / suicide because users tend to have properties indifferent to the environment he considers himself not useful for this environment which encourages to act reckless, can cause loss of control for the wearer after consuming narcotics. Substances contained in them directly to work attacking nerves in the brain that tends to make impatient and loose control and can cause disease for the wearer because of the Narcotics contain substances that have side effects that cause new diseases.
Drug abuse also affects the nature of a person and cause a variety of dangers, among others: First, to ourself, for example: able to change his personality, causing indifferent nature, like having sex, do not hesitate to torture self, being a lazy, the spirit of learning decreased. Secondly, the family, for example: like stealing items in their own homes, against the parents.
Thirdly, to society, for example: breaking the norms prevailing in society, committing a crime, and disturbing public order.

Argument

I think drug abuse and illegal drugs among the society is increasing, up to now has been almost no spread of drugs can be prevented. Given the almost entire population of the world can easily get drugs from people who are not responsible. For example, from drug dealers who like to look for victims in the area schools, discos, and in brothels. Currently, drugs are used more than drugs in our society. This includes the use of drugs for teenagers. They believe that the drug will help them think better, become more popular, still more active, or become an athlete. Most of them thought that the drug would help them escape their problems. But as we know it well before the drugs can not solve the problem. They simply hide feelings and problems. When the medication runs out, feelings and problems remain, or become worse.
Of course This is can make parents, and the government worried about the spread of drug abuse that is too reigned willingly. Drug eradication efforts have often done, but less likely to avoid drugs than among adolescents and adults, even children of elementary and junior high school that fall was a lot of drugs. Until now the most effective efforts to prevent drug abuse in children from families of education. Because parents play a significant role and is expected to supervise and educate their children to always stay away from drugs. Also a lot of the negative impact of drug abuse against the wearer have a direct impact and indirect impacts.
Examples of direct impacts, such as: central nervous system damage or damage to other body organs, changes in attitude and personality, often absent and declining values lessons, become irritable and easily angry, often sleepy and lazy, do not care about their health and can cause craziness and even death. Meanwhile, examples of indirect impacts, such as: like stealing money to buy drugs, being isolated in society and in their dealings with people who are good, big shame because the family will have family members who use illegal substances, and lost learning chance may be excluded from school or college, no longer be trusted by others because most drug addicts would love to lie and committing a crime, sin will continue to grow because forget the obligations of God and live a life which is prohibited by religion, can be put in jail a very excruciating birth inner.
Beside that, drug abuse very impact of the emotional because at the time of use drugs, moods, feelings, and emotions of someone involved affected. One of the effects created by the drug is the change in mood. Drugs can lead to extreme feelings, moods or emotions of users. Especially when the person is basically an emotional person and hot tempered. Emotions a drug addict very unstable and can change at any time. One moment he seems fine, but under the influence of drugs a minute later he could turn into tantrums, throwing things, and even beat up anyone who is nearby. They did not hesitate to beat their wife or children and even their own parents. Because it does all acts of violence under the influence of drugs, so sometimes he does not remember what he had done.
I think that drug users have some factors that cause them to consume drugs. Firstly, the environmental factors, such as his curiosity and he wants to try, then the chance because their parents busy with their respective activities and the lack of affection from family or broken home. Secondly, personality factors, such as: feelings of inferiority in the social the environmental in the community or at school, work, etc., they overcome these problems by drugs abusing or alcohol psykotropika done to cover up their lack so that they get what they want, such as more active and brave.

But with drugs we use we just feel the pleasure shortly after that we will feel sorry, because after we taking drugs likely we will be more short-ages and of course ourselves away from God.

Recommendation

Prevention efforts to the spread of drugs among students, it should be our responsibility. In this case all parties including parents, teachers, and governments must become actively involved in drug aware threats to the nation's children. There are several things to consider when conducting anti-drug programs in schools. Firstly, with involving families because parents have an important role in shaping the belief in the use of drugs in children. How to change family attitudes to use drug, including improving parenting parents in order to create communication and a better environment at home.

Secondly, with providing information from the National Narcotics or from the Police to the schools for the students to understand and know the dangers of consume drugs and a lot of impact for themselves.
Thirdly, moral and religious education should be more emphasized to the students because one of causes of children's entry into this vicious circle is the lack of moral and religious education that they absorb, so that this disgraceful act like they live.
And If parents know their children drug-abusing parents must be calm, controlled emotion, angry, hurt or guilt is useless. Appreciate the honesty of the child, if the child already admitted using drugs, do not show angry reaction, parents should be grateful that the kids want to be honest.

Therefore, we must not abusing the products containing addictive substances that have specific functions and misused as a drug, for example: Alcohol, function as a medical equipment but in material that could be misused as intoxicants. And do not hang out with people who are already consume drugs because it can make us fall into the drug world. So from now on avoid such thing as illegal drugs you should never try because it is prohibited by law or religion. Also, a lot of loss that we can if we take these drugs. Us draw near to God so that we avoid things that want to plunge us into the wrong path. Do not waste our lives just for the novelty.

hidrasi air

• CuSO4.5H2O Tembaga(II) sulfat pentahidrat
• CoCl2.6H2O Kobalt(II) aklorida heksahidrat
• SnCl2.2H2O Timah(II) klorida dihidrat
• Na2CO3. 10H2O Natrium karbonat dekahidrat
• FeBr2.4H2O Fero bromide tetrahidrat
• NiCl2 .4H2O Nikel(II) klorida tetrahidrat
• RhCl3.3H2O Rodium(III) klorida trihidrat
• Ba(OH)2.8H2O Barium hidroksida oktahidrat

Contoh reaksi:
CuSO4.5H2O(s) -> CuSO4(s) + 5H2O
CuSO4 disebut sebagai anhidrat dari hidrat CuSO4.5H2O. Beberapa senyaw hidrat berbeda warna dengan senyawa anhidratnya. Hidrat CuSO4.5H2O berwarna biru sedangkan anhidrat CuSO4 berwarna putih. Hidrat CoCl2.6H2O bewarna merah sedangkan anhidratnya berwarna biru.

Menentukan rumus hidrat
Hidrat LiClO4 ditemukan mengandung 33,60% air. Tentukanlah formula hidrat tersebut?
Jawab:

Massa H2O = 33,60%.100 g = 33,60 g
Massa anhidrat LiClO4 = (100%-33,60%).100g = 66,40 g
Mol masing-masing dicari dengan cara sebagai berikut:
Mol LiClO4
= massa/Mr
= 66,40 g / 106 gmol-
= 0,624 mol
Mol H2O
= massa/Mr
= 33,60 g/ 18 gmol-
= 2,106 mol
Perbandingan mol LiClO4 : H2O
= 0,624 mol : 2,106 mol
= 1 : 3,3
= 1:3

Reaksi:
ZnSO4.xH2O(s) -> ZnSO4(s) + H2O(g)
Massa air
= massa hidrat – massa anhidrat
= 3,845 g – 2,165 g
= 1,68 g
Prosentase air hidrat
= massa air / massa hidrat x 100%
= 1,68 g / 3.845g x 100%
= 43,7%
Mol ZnSO4
= massa / Mr
= 2,165 g / 161 gmol-
= 0,01341 mol
Mol H2O
= massa / Mr
= 1,68 g / 18 gmol-
= 0,09333 mol
Perbandingan mol ZnSO4 dan air
= 0,01341 mol : 0,09333 mol
= 1: 6,9599
= 1:7

a. Magan(II) sulfat monohidrat MnSO4.H2O
b. Tembaga(II) perklorat heksahidrat Cu(ClO4)2.6H2O
Diketahui Ar Mn= 55 S=32 O=16 H=1 Cu=63,5 Cl=35,5
Jawab:
a. Mr MnSO4.H2O
= Ar Mn + Ar S + 4xArO + 2xArH + Ar O
= 55 + 32 + 4×16 + 2×1 + 16
= 169 gmol-
Prosentase Mn
= Ar Mn / Mr MnSO4.H2O x 100%
= 55 / 169 x 100% = 32,54%
Prosentase S
= Ar S / Mr MnSO4.H2O x 100%
= 32 / 169 x 100%
= 18,93%
Prosentase O
= 4xAr O + Ar O / Mr MnSO4.H2O x 100%
= 4×16 + 16 / 169 x 100%
= 47,33%
Prosentase H
= 2xAr H / Mr MnSO4.H2O x 100%
= 2×1 / 169 x 100%
= 1,18 %

b. Mr Cu(ClO4)2.6H2O
= Ar Cu + 2xAr Cl + 8xAr O + 12xAr H + 6xAr O
= 63,5 + 2×35,5 x 8×16 + 12 x 1 + 6×16
= 370,5
Prosentase Cu
= Ar Cu / Mr Cu(ClO4)2.6H2O x 100%
= 63,5 / 370,5 x 100%
= 17,14%
Prosentase Cl
= 2xAr Cl / Mr Cu(ClO4)2.6H2O x 100%
= 2×35,5 / 370,5 x 100%
= 19,16%
Prosentase O
= 8xAr O + 6xAr O / Mr Cu(ClO4)2.6H2O x 100%
= 8×16 + 6×16 / 370,5 x 100%
= 60,46%
Prosentase H
= 12xAr 1 / Mr Cu(ClO4)2.6H2O x 100%
= 12×1 / 370,5 x 100%
= 3,24%
